SEO is one field, where you are never 100% done. SEO needs continuous efforts. Here is list of few basic SEO tips for all kinds of WordPress blogs.

1. Enable “I would like my blog to be visible to everyone, including search engines (like Google, Bing, Technorati) and archivers” in Privacy Settings.

By default it is enabled, but you should check the settings.

2. Enable comment. Some webmaster disable comment feature because of some reason. But comments can play good role in SEO.

How to enable comments:
Login in WordPress Admin panel.
Navigate to: Settings >> Discussion >> and check “Allow people to post comments on new articles“.

3. Keep your blog dedicated to a niche. Don’t blog about everything that comes in your mind, like about flower, car, WordPress, computer etc. Keep your blog dedicated to one niche. Else search engine will be confused what your blog is about. Also, readers want to subscribe to particular niche.
